Pujya Bapuji is sympathetic to the poor, grief-stricken, underprivileged and tribal people. His heart melts for such people and Diwali for Him is an occasion to get bhandārās arranged for them. Bapuji Himself conducts many bhandārās. The ashram organized bhandārās at many places but Pujya Bapuji himself was present at Reodar, Distt. Sirohi (Rajasthan), Gogunda, dist. Udaipur and Kotra, dist. Udaipur (Raj.). Thousands of gloomy faces were lit up with gifts of love like every year, brothers and sisters were provided with new clothes, utensils, sweets and cash on the occasion of Diwali. Bapuji’s arribal means it is Diwali… and Diwali means Bapuji has come! ‘Aapna Bapuji, Pyaare pyaare Baapji’ (Our Bapuji, our beloved Bapuji) was seen on the lips of the poor, illiterate and helpless people of this region, who experienced blessedness blessedness in the spontaneous, loving and consoling presence of Bapuji and were imparted with the keys to lead a wise, healthy and happy life. The sdhakas too experienced a sense of satisfaction in serving the poor. They satisfied the hunger of all by distributing food Prasad.
While on the one hand, people were engrossed in celebrating Diwali with their own friends, kith and kin, the compassion incarnate Pujya Bapuji, on other had, was bringing into practice the lofty ideal of ‘Service to man is service to God’ in the midst of poor tribals. How unique a saint is Bapuji! Blessed are such great souls!
