In the evening of 22nd September and on 23rd September, devotees of Vaijnath (Maharashtra), which is one of the jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva got the opportunity to bathe in the pious Ganga of devotion filled with the divine water of remembrance of Lord Name. In the night of 23rd September, the newly constructed Ashram at Ambejogai (Maharashtra) was inaugurated by Pujya Bapuji and the devotees present there got the opportunity of pujyashree’s Darshan and satsang.
Grand Samkirtan Yatra
On the occasion of pujya Bapuji’s Atam sakshatkar (self realization) day devotees at different places take out Samkirtan Tatra. The Samkirtan Yatra at Amdevad taken out on 27th September proved to be a mammoth one and a memorable occasion. The one and a half Km long Yatra was led by 108 ladies carrying pitchers on their heads. Hundreds of Aum flags fluttering in the air imbued the atmosphere with spiritual potency. The chariot carrying pujya Bapuji idol was being driven by people with supreme devotion. Many devotees carried in their hands placards with pious utterances. Beautiful pageants concerning Baal samskar Kendra’s glory of sacrifices de addiction campaigns ect. Added to the glory of the Yatra. A number of chariots had been decorated by pictures of Lord Rama Lord Krishna saints gods and large hoardings of Guru Disciple relationship pujyashree’s love for the cows etc. with singing of Lord Name the entire atmosphere became full of devotional flavour. Prasad and literature was distributed to people along the way.
Shri Sureshandji joined the Yatra and with his bhajans he filled the atmosphere with utmost joy. The atmosphere reverberated with chats hailing Pujya Bapuji. More then 1000 devotes took part in the Yatra. Wherever the Yatra went people used to look with wonder. They would come out of their houses move the aarti lamp before the Yatra, worship it mentally and welcome the pious devotees by showering flowers. In the process they them selves would start dancing and chanting Lord’s name.
People refuted suggestion of the sinister campaign against pujya Bapuji having tarnished his image. The samkirtan Yatra and people’s response thereto proved that pujya Bapuji is the darling of people of Gujarat. It showed that devotees know him to be the supreme well wisher and benevolent friend of all beings and pujya Bapuji is still the centre of devotional feelings of crores of people. The samkirtan Yatra was concluded with aarti and bhandara.
