A very strange staff carrying sadhu used to visit sant Eknathji. Eknathji loved him very much. The sadhu knew this mantra:
“The supreme Brahman is perfect and complete and because He is completely all emanations form Him such as this phenomenal world are perfect equipped as complete whole. Whatever is produced of the complete whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the complete whole even thought so many complete units emanate form peace: Peace!”
Not only did he now this mantra, he had completed assimilated it. He used to behold the Absolute in all beings. He used to behold the Absolute in all beings. He used to pay mental obeisance to whomsoever he comes across. At times he would prostrate even out wardly.
Once he was passing through the market place. An ass was lying dead. Oh, what happened? How did this ass see? Muttering question like these people gathered there. This sadhu happened to pass this way have a look at the ass. He came into his state of oneness with supreme consciousness. He said O Pure consciousness! You are omnipresent. O Lord you are permeating all beings in the universe with this conviction he paid obeisances to the ass, the ass because alive Bow the news of this miracle spread all around and people started adoring the sadhu and vying for his Darshan. The sadhu came to Eknathji Maharaja whom he deeply revered. He prayed to Eknathji, People have started disturbing me now. What to do?”
Eknathji said why then did you perform the miracle? Why did you bring the ass to life?
The Sadhu said, “I didn’t even think performing a miracle. I had paid obeisance to the ass with the conviction that the Lord is in all and all is in the Lord. I simply said to the ass, O Lord O all pervading pure Consciousness! I pay obeisance to you I myself don’t know how the ass because alive.”
When you consciously do no miracle happens. Something happens when you lose your individuality. Brining the dead to life or other such miracles it is not done: it happens. When unintentionally you become one with the pure similarly, When the sadhu become one with the pure consciousness the Lord performed that miracle: he didn’t do anything.
People say Asaram Bapuji Performed such and such miracle. Asaram Bapu doesn’t do anything. When I becomes one with the esoteric meaning of Vedic mantra and lose my identify the Lord Takes charge of the situation while you think that Bapuji has done this if some Sadhu or ascetic says he has done such and such thing, Know that he is either ignorant ort greedy. True saints never do anything. Lord Krishna says, the knower of Ultimate Truth has his eyes set on the Ultimate Truth the pure consciousness. He knows that it is the only real thing and this visible worldly is the sport of pure consciousness. Every man has his individual outlook towards life. The sadhu outlook had so fully ripened that he beheld the pure Consciousness eve in the dead ass and consequently consciousness returned into the ass and he became alive. You too can have your outlook framed as such by know ledge of Ultimate Truth and once you do so, the whole world will become a sport of the self for you.
