A Land Full of Gems

A man gives importance to worldly things in his life, only until he has not known the real and supreme goal of his life. Once he gets initiated by Satguru, established in Brahman and gains knowledge of self, from Him he becomes aware of the ture purpose his life and after getting the priceless jewel in the form of Guru mantra he dos not gives even the west value to any temporal object.

The Queen Mewar, Mirabai had no dearth of wealth in her life, as and when she got intitated in the name of god by her Guru she sang..

‘I have found the wealth of the Divine Name’s gem. My True Guru gave me a priceless thing. With his grace I accepted it.
The same king of a story repeats itself in Bhakta (devotee) Purandarji’s life.

Once on the invitation of king krishandev, bhakta pomander visited the king’s royal place. When he was about to leave, the king while putting two handfuls of rise in his bag said, Mahraj, place oblige me by accepting this petty gift, The kind had mixed some diamonds in the rice that he gave.

When purandar wife was cleaning the rice she saw those invaluable jewels in it. She threw away those pearls in the dustbin.

Bhakta purandar used to visit the king’s court daily. The king always used to give him rice mixed with jewels in it but at the same time he used to think thus purandar is not free form the covetousness for money. Hand he bee free from it he world never have come angina for alms in the palace.

Once day the king alms in the spoke out his mind and said, “Oh great bhakta Greed keeps a person deprived of spiteful attainments… Now you may please contemplate over your self.’
Bhakta Purandar was filled with grief listening to such words from the king. Next day he took the kind with him to show him his house. At that time purandar wife was cleaning trice spread out in a plate. The king asked her, Lady what are you doing?

She replied Maharaji someone gives precious jewels mixed along with rice, in the alms. I am removing those stones.

The king enquired Then what will you do those jewels?
I shall throw outside in the dustbin. These stones are of no value for out king of people.

The king was stunned to actually find all those piteous jewels lying in the dustbin and he fell at the bhakta couple feet. Lo, A Land of a Variety of Jewels. This Land out India is darned with many such jewels inhuman forms. Absolutely unattached to worldly wealth, one who consider precious jewels to be mere stones the country has been endowed with such great devotees like bhakta purandar and his wife.

And at the same time we Indians also have at out disposal such great men like sant
Eknathji who for the cause of welfare of the world have involved themselves in world activities and used money n propaging of ture knowledge divine services and building up the moral character of individuals.’
