On the day of Putrada Ekadshi special impotence is give to the ritual of deep (lamp Offering) one should stay awake the whole night in the company of vaishnavas. The merits earned thorough staying awake can be attained every by doing tapas for thousands of years. This is supremely aspirins days capable of destroying all sins.

His right hand and right eye began throbbing heralding be deficient results. Many minis were reacting Vedic hymns on the shore the lake. The kind was delighted to see them. He dismounted form his horse, stooped before the muins repectulfully and began today his obeisance’s to each of them initially. The muins had attained greatness through the observance of supreme vrates. When the kind repeatedly paid obeisance to then with folded the muins responded o kind we were please with you.
The kind enquired: Please be kind enough to tell me who you are what are your name hwy have all gathered here?

The munis replied: o kind we are vishwedeva we have arrived here to take a hold dip. The month of Maga is framing near. The auspicious period of bating in the month of magha will start five days form observes a vrates on this day is blessed with a son.
The kind said o lord if your are pulsed with me then please me with a son
The muins responded: Today’s is the overpays of Putrada Ekadshi its significase is well knows observe this excellent vrata today by the grace flood with a son lord Krishan continued, o Yudhishtahira! then observed the vrata of petards Ekadshi as directed by muins his vrata the repeatedly paid obeisance’s later queen conceived in the due course of time the noble kind was blessed with a through his virtuous qualities gratified his father he became a protector is subject therefore o kind the auspicious vrata of petards Ekashashi should most defiantly be observed I have described it in great detail to you for the benefit of making. Those who observe this vrata of put ads Ekadshi with a concentrated mind are blessed with son in this life and go the heaven here after. By reading and listening to this narration one is blessed with the fruits of performing an Agnishtoma Yajna.’
