Maharshi semica had an obedient and worthy disciple named Gaurmukh. He had been imparted by his Satguru the knowledge of the Ultimate truth Happiness and sorrow, illness and wellness are in the mind I am a witness to the all my true self is in substance same as the supreme being who knows and pervades every particles of the universe Gaurmukh live in an Ashram in the forest and practiced such thoughts. If Gaurmukh disciples world ever commit a mistake reciting Vedas god himself world reciting veds god him world correct them speaking thorough birds. Such was the power of Gaurmukh devotion to the guru.
One day Durjaya, the king of that country came there in the course of his excursions Gaurmukh saw the king entering his Ashram with his army.
Gaurmukh said o king I welcome you your army an your army commanders to the Ashram king Durjaya entered Gaurmukh’ sprawling ashram with his army.
Going to a saint or entering his kutiya with security guards and dozens of gunmen exhibits a mean mentality.
On fact Gaurmukh should have politely said o king it good that you arrived but the ashram does not have to do anything with your arms. The army should have been outside the Ashram till now when it has come then its all right. You tell then to rest outside. One having welcomed they army along with the king the responsibility of providing then with food and lodging fell on Gaurmukh, he meditated and invoked lord Vishnu. He prayed to the lord o lord what should do king Durjaya has come with his army I must treat then well when the guileless Gaurmukh who had never desired anything for himself rayed to the indweller lord the lord appeared before him an heading over to him Chintamani (a wish giving stone) said whatever you wish sitting before this Chintamani will be fulfilled by it.
Gaurmukh sat before the Chintamani and said o lord Vishnu blessing let there be lodging and food for the king army an army commanders. Let there be fodder and forage for elephants and horse let there be an appropriate mansion for the king.
Sitting before the Chintamani Gaurmukh wished all that he thought was required and everything was arranged king Durjaya was stunned to see the elaborate and exquisite arrangements seeking to propitiate the sage who he showed him such a wonderful hospital the king said o sage I ma highly place at being entertained so well kindly be my guest whenever you place.
In extending that invitation the real intonation of the king was to show his won royal pomp. The pious sage had just tried to be god host but vicious thoughts entered the king mind. Next day when the king prepared to leave, all the things created by Chintamani disappeared. There is nothing unbelievable in this. I have heard about such Samantha Ramdasji and Tukaramji had the power to create things out of nothing. When Bhaarta went to the forest along with a huge entourage in a bid to persuade Lord Rama to return to Ayodhya. Bhardwaj rishi created all the things required by all the people accompanying him. Even today there are siddhas who keep traveling with their disciples and decide to sojourn where ever they feel like. Tents are pitch and all the things required appear automatically. They stay their till such times as they sleek and them leave. When they leave all the objects dissolve into the basic elements of nature. I have one such saint. The river Armada use to bring meals for him assuming a human form.
The king was wonderstruck to see the power of Chintamani intent on wickedness. The king said to him minister go and tell gauramcuk to give the stone too me. That stone is possessed of immense potency why should the sadhu need it. Malicious men what to grab everything themselves and want to see other especially saint impoverished. They want to subjugate lord devote while fearing to take on terrorists and vicious men.
Gaurmukh sent the king minister with the reply such blessed gifts received, form the lord are not use for fulfilling selfish deriders. They should be used only for the benefits of the society at large.’
The reply infuriate the king an eh instructed to take the Chintamani by fore, finding the king was bent upon mischief, Gaurmukh prayed to the lord o lord save me what is happening? The king forces are entering the Ashram! Send your force to combat them.’
He sat before Chintamani and prayed for a large army equipped with all of weapons. They army appeared and in moments, Durjaya army was made to flee. When Durjaya and his chosen’s minister reached the Ashram with some soldiers, Gaurmukh prayed to the lord once ageism. In a moment times the supreme being with his sudarashan chakra destroyed Durjaya and his army.
The lord said o sage all the evil men have been destroyed here in mineshaft (moment the time take by the eyelids to aging. There fore this place will be known as naimisharayanya. Sages an ascetics will be living on this pious land and Satsang mediation prayer and discussion on ultimate truth will always go on here.’
Since then the pace was know as Naimisharanya. This is the place where the sage . Suta imparted knowledge of slimed Bhagwat to sanuaka and other Rishi.
Even today give us the message that on who misuses his power. And abilities and offends saints gets destroyed like king Durjaya even if he be so powerful a to have soverighgnty over all human gods demons.
