Dipawali is the last day of the year and the day next to Dipawali is the first day of the New year. it is the first day of the year according to diorama calendar. One cheerful on this day remains cheerful thought the year.
The great Vyasaji says in Mahabharata: Yudhaishthira! One who is cheerful on the frits day of the new Year remains cheerful throughout the year and own who graves on this day will spend the whole year grieving.
It is to see asusicious things on the Dipawali and New Year day. It affords one religious merit. The things propitious the se these tow days are. But if you meet a saint of the likes of sai Lisashaahji Bapu or Marimba Mehta in whose hearts the lord has become manifest it means that you are granted a privilege by the gracious god.
‘Kabir only that time will go to thy eternal credit which to dost send in darshan of al saint.
The rest of all thy life is utter waste, for know thou that the lord and saint, are one.”
Meeting a living saint, whose darshan reminds us of the supreme self is considered to be supremely beneficial. Those who get darshan of the saint or satguru in whose hearts the supreme consciousness in revealed should remember the words of lord Shiva.:
