There are mainly tow types of devotion or Bhakti – Gaur Bhakti or devotion to God by Experiencing His glory and Sanbandh Bhakti or devotion to God by forging a relationship with Him. There are also many other intermediary types of Bhakt
We run and walk on earth and how well we run. But where would we run if the earth was not there? And is the earth our own creation? It is He Who has created it. So, the earth is His. But again, does the power to run really belong to us? No, that too is His glory.
Even if the earth was provided to us we would not have been able to run had He not give us legs? Again our legs would have been useless without the power to run. The food is His, our mimed is His, and our body is His It is His glory to you” We speak and eat by His glary. And did we create sleep? It too is given by you, O God Even the milk in the mother’s body is provided by you.” In this way, everything should remind one of God’s glory.
How great is your glory that a black buffalo eats green and produces white milk. Your Consciousness appears to be so tiny in an insect and s big in an elephant. The same Consciousness is seen is the forms of intelligence and cleverness in the mahout. Wonderful O God. How great is your glory.
Thou appear to be small in on ant and big in am elephant. Thou art the mahout sitting on the elephant’s back driving it. Such is Thy play; I see Thee and Thee alone.

God is ours and how wonderful his miracle of creation is. Thus by being devoted to recognizing His glory everywhere your heart will filled with love and gratitude for Him. To worship God with loving servitude or friendly love or love expressed in the form of any other relationship is called dambandha Bhakti. Samantha Bhakti will wean away your heart, your mind your mental modes and your intellect from attachment, hatred, worry feat and dejection; and fill them with divine bless.
You have to toil a lot in order to enjoy the pleasure of the material world. If you want t make al-Sadat, you have to get potatoes, gram-flout, do this, do that before you then you say, Aha I have eaten al-Sadat But what if you overeat and are unable to digest it? You will then say: “Oh………oh”
You have enjoyed the taste of food but then it is God who permeates food in the form of consciousness of taste. How would if have tasted without the consciousness of God? There was so much hard work involved, but then he taste and joy is your wonder, my Beloved,. Who lire the embodiment of wisdom, my Krishn.
Once wile passing through a forest, Yogi Gorakhnathji came across a shepherd. The shepherd told home, Baba where are you going? It is hot, came and sits in the shade”
The poor shepherd fed him rotes with affection and said, “Rest here for a while, Baba “As Gorakhanthji prepared to take leave after resting for some tine, for me. I an illiterate fool. How can I increase my devoting? How shall I attain liberation?
“Do you want to attain liberation? Do you want devotion?”
“Yes Baba”
“Look, power is attained through self control, devoting is attained through love and liberation is attained though love and liberation is attained through wisdom. Power.
Devotion and lone ration…… get hold of any one of these three and the other two will come to you automatically. If you hold any one corner of a be-sheet, the remaining three will come into grasp automatica
The shepherd replied in the local dialect, “Baba I an ignorant regarding this. These black letters look like buffaloes to me. I love never learnt to read nor is three any possibility of me doing so in the future. Can I ever attain liberation?
Gorakhanthji said, “yes, very easily. You gaze these goats and sheep, don’t you? They eat gene and yellow grass and give white milk out of grass wow God, You are great.
In this way Gorakhnathaji thought him Guava Bhakti. The shepherd looks to it with great fervor. He would be so deeply engrossed in devotion that he see God‘s glory everywhere “wow God, great is Your glory, whenever he saw fish jumping and swimming in a river, he would think, wow God, great is Your divine miracle There was no pan missal in those days and the environment also was free from pollution. He would have milk and chapattis stay clear of deceit and hypocrisy. Soon his shear was purified. A pure heart becomes capable of rending others mind. This power is latent in all being.
A king saw a dream in which he thought that he ought to fill his coffers. He consulted his minis tar who said, “This dream was not given to you by Allah it is the Satan in your mind at work.” The king was furious with the minister and banished him form the Kingdom. There minister wandered here and there, and then happened to meet shepherds.
The shepherd said “The King has kicked you out but his world of that King is always there for everybody. The King was talking about filling his coffers and you told him that the idea was not given by Allah but was assigned by his satanic mind. He didn’t seem to like the truth.
The minister said but how did you come to know?’
“He who dwells in you, me and all is One Wow O God; great is your divine play”
”Gorakhanthji has thought me Aura Bhakti. He could not express himself thus, but by repeatedly remembering God’s glory, his ego had dissolved in God.
The Minster was dumbfounded and overwhelmed with a great sense of admiration, he narrated to the King in detail the amazing story of the miraculous power of the shepherd, who had attained to glory by virtue of seeing God’s glory everywhere. The King was highly impressed and he went to meet the shepherd. The King started geeing glimpse of divine bliss quite effortlessly as he kept availing himself of the satang and company of the saintly shepherd.
The part of Gaurav Bhakti is simple too. Sing the greatness of god while cooking, eating giving and taking or ingrain it in you mind that you are related to god. Remember and repose in it. Sing His glory and then go into repose. The body is destined to die but the self is related to the supreme self. If you remember this, God will bless you with Buddha-yoga. Your devotion to God will keep increasing s you go on remembering Him though Gaurav Bhakti and Sambaed Bhakti.
