Sankapa The Expansion of Thoughts
Sankapa the expansion of the mind thoughts towards desired objects is the consequence of past fulfilled desire. Sence enjoyments of the past give rise to sankalap in the future. If a samkapa is acceded to it will result integument of some worldly pleasure and that in turn gives rise to further sankaplas. The pleasure derived form fulfillment of sankaplas is therein ground for fresh sankaplpas. If we go for pleasure of wish fulfillment desires will arise one after the other and we will always remain discontented. Do not enjoy the pleasure of wise fulfillment and don’t revel in the peace you will derive form getting rid of desire. Then you will become a jivanmukta (liberated while living). You will becomes free from the pain of non fluffiest of desire. Pain of non fulfillment to of resolves is felt only if you enjoy the pleasure of their fullfimnet. Sankalapas is not itself an object. A sankalapas is an indication of your remote past when you enjoyed wish fullfimnet; or it is suggestive of a future plan or it is the memory or past action. The incessant though current can not be stooped by your efforts. Desires will rise but you should disassociate your self from them. Sankalapas can be of good or evil nature. If is with in your power to fulfill a justifiable sankalapas do fulfit it. Only those sankalapas should be fulfilled which are for the good of others. That is called duty. The sankalapas that cannot be fulfilled and rises again and again is contrary to reason and it is beyond your power to fulfit it. There fore it should be renounced. That will make you free form all vacillations.
Never think of doing what you cannot do and never do what ought not to do. What you can do and you should do, do it forth wish don’t keep it in abeyance. Thus you will attain to Yoga in the end.
