Set out before it is too Late..
The king of Magadh used to take a lot of care of his stable and bull house. He used to visit his horses and bulls regularly and caress them. Once bull in the bulls hours was very beautiful. His ivory clory long horns and elected shoulders used to attract nay one. The king was very fond of him.Once the King want to distant states, in order to expand his territory. When he returned he as shocked to see the state of his favorite bull. He asked the elderly attendant who used to take care of the bulls. The bull which possessed a robust body complexion tall shoulders devoid of radiance and his youth is dwindled. How came the centre of attraction.
The servant replied living “O king His youth has passed. Almost every living being comes to the same plight in old age and at last death hovers around them Realizing this very perishable nature and baseness of the visible world, thoughtful and intelligent kings like you, seek satsang taking refuge in Great Men awakened in the Eternal and Truth Consciousness, in order to get awakened in supreme Self. The Kind of Magadh (now south Bihar) remained engrossed in these thoughts all night. It seems as if the dormant dispassion of the king was aroused by the old age of the bull and the words of the trustworthy experience servant of the bull house. The king started contemplating, Oh world Fie unto your perishable and ever exchanging nature. Everyone who claimed possession on you died. You never accompanied anyone. You are yourself mortal. Those who considers themselves fortunate on possessing you, such dull witted ones remain lost in the false imagination of having right to the throne seen in a dream and its joy and death ultimately approaches and engulfs everybody, Even I am squandering my precious life under same delusion.
I had heard in satsang that every acquired thing shall be left behind but my lust for territorial expansion made me wander. All efforts of expansion are shortening my life span. This beautiful charming lovely bull has fallen victim to ageing. Damn the wretched person like me who are bent upon expansion of state, material object an power. Fir unto my desires. Kudos to the Great Men who have attained perfection by becoming one with the all pervading supreme Being who is most expansive. We are paying our way to wander in the lower like forms while trying to multiply things just as king Aja, King Nriga who took lower births because of entertaining such desire I also acted foolishly an took to the path of assuming lower births.
No Now or never The external expansionism leads us towards destruction while the expansion of the chital vritti in the self is established which gives reposes in the all pervading Braham. When will the day come when I shall get reposed in the self stabile all encompassing Brahman.
Alas I should know and attain the know of eh mortal body an impermanent samaras i.e. Atam (self) which riseders in the heart of every human being as I the eternal God Naryam. It is too Late Old age is embarking upon this body also I should attain the state of supreme self before helplessness and dependency of old age and finally death draws near.
The sensible king of Maagah took to the path of Great Men i.e. Realization of the immortal self before death. He entrusted his empire to some noble persons and himself got engaged diligently in attaining the Truth consciousness and Bliss perosonifed self in a solitary juggle, according to instruction when seeing an old bull the king recalled old age and death an he committed himself to the attainment of self which is free from death and disease. The selfless emperor being devoted to God attained self realization while living like Janak.
Upon having attained the Brahmin sate, Nothing at all does rain to be done; Delusion can then no more deceive; With no trace of desire of desire in the heart.
Transcending the nothing born of delusion I am the body and I shall get joy from the worldly things I want more..
Blessed with the grace of the perfected Guru, And having go the knowledge of the perfected Guru. The king was wakened into his own Being and reveled in his own self.
