Earlier, surdas name was Bilvamangla an he was madly after a beautiful damsel. The when he developed detachment, he pierced his eyes to make himself blind. Therefore he becomes surdas.
During his school days sadhan was not a very bright student but has an unflinching devotion to Guru. So his Guru was pleased with him and said Child you are my student but sir Krishna will becomes you pupil, so the guru made sir Krishna the disciple of his disciple Man has the ability to made god his grad disciple. Why should one keep crying out for thought out his like dying to please the seethes and minted. By gratifying samarth Ramads shivaji himself become swani (master/ lord).
